Hi! I’m Dana.

Sassy Cat Sewing Studio grew from my love of sewing, colorful fabrics and creating useful things with a little personality.

Everything you see here is handmade by me in my home sewing studio, one at a time. I love playing with unexpected fabric combinations, upcycled denim, fun details and new bag designs.

And then there’s Sassafrass — our sweet rescue cat and the real Sassy Cat behind the name. She takes her supervisory duties very seriously and can usually be found nearby keeping an eye on things.

I primarily sell my creations at local markets and pop-ups, but if you see something here you love — or have an idea for something special — I’d love to hear from you.
